LTE Solutions
Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is breaking the limitation of
how we enjoy network connectivity.
Advancing High-Speed Broadband with Fixed Wireless
Service providers can use the latest technology to deliver high-speed broadband services to their customers over the last mile using multiple license spectrum, or the shared-spectrum Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) over 4G and 5G LTE technology. CBRS is a band of the radio-frequency spectrum from 3.5GHz to 3.7GHz that the FCC has designated for sharing among three tiers of uses: incumbent users, priority licensees, and generally authorized, which is unlicensed. The incumbent users include satellite ground stations and the Navy.
Compared with previous mobile network technologies, 4G LTE offers much higher bandwidth (speed of data transfer), lower latency (after response times from the network), and improved spectrum efficiency (increasing overall network capacity). This allows: More applications to be used on mobile devices, out of the home or office Faster or real-time sharing of large files and streaming media Near-immediate delivery of time-sensitive data, such as for real-time interaction or transactions
LTE will deliver improvements in the performance of many existing applications, and make feasible new applications that depend on reliable high speed or responsive data transfer. Examples include innovative telemedicine applications, remote monitoring, fully-mobile virtual desktops, and high definition mobile videoconferencing. The improved user experience and practicality of LTE will also hasten the uptake of those existing applications that already work on mobile devices - but just not very well. Finally, LTE's high bandwidth can support the rapid set-up of temporary workplaces, as an alternative or backup to fixed broadband connections.
The Zyxel LTE Series indoor and outdoor CPE enables service providers to deploy wireless broadband internet connectivity in rural and remote areas where the deployment of DSL, cable, and fiber is cost-prohibitive. The Zyxel LTE Series products support both bridge and router functions to maximize flexibility in deployment and incorporate high gain antennas for better signal performance in different deployment scenarios.

Zyxel Outdoor LTE CPEZyxel offers a range of outdoor LTE CPE that operate on CBRS or licensed frequency bands. Zyxel outdoor CPE has built-in high-gain antennas for better performance, temperature hardened enclosure, and intuitive configuration and management tools, including a mobile app. |
Our Solutions are Made to Provide Reliable Performance in Harsh EnvironmentsDesigned to be easily deployed and integrated into existing network environments, LTE7461, LTE7480 and LTE7485 outdoor CPEs are housed in robust IP68 enclosures to protect them from damage from harmful dust and water when deployed in harsh outdoor environments. |
Ease of Deployment and ManagementOur LTE CPE is easily installed on a wall or pole and features integrated 802.3af/at PoE PD (power device) support eliminating the need to locate the device near a power source. Zyxel LTE MobileApp for Android and iOS enables service providers to set up, manage, and monitor customer CPE from a mobile device. Our LTE Series supports TR-069, remote GUI, and remote FTP to simplify remote configuration, software upgrades, and network management, as well as the cloud-based Band Pilot LTE management system. |
Zyxel LTE Band Pilot is a cloud-based remote management system designed to help service providers remotely manage Zyxel LTE CPE products. Key features include remote troubleshooting, monitoring online status for all devices, RF performance history tracking, remote firmware upgrades, and TR-143 speed tests. These features allow an operator to provide a reliable network and better internet connection/experience for end-users.

Remotely Troubleshoot with TR143-based Speed Test, Ping, and Traceroute Diagnostic ToolsThe LTE Band Pilot remote management system provides a set of tools for operators to be more efficient and responsive in helping end-users. They can troubleshoot by using TR143-based download/upload speed tests and diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, reboot, and/or reset functions. The use of these functions shortens operators’ response time to end-user complaints, meanwhile, reducing the expense of dispatching technicians for onsite troubleshooting. |
